Personally, I don’t use the once-click or automated installers. I’ve found them to be a little “quirky” in the past at times, and some of them don’t let you get updates when they are released. If you can, I would recommend doing a manual installation, as I’ve found that normally works out better in the long run. Save FileZilla for taking backups of the sites files. ??
]]>cPanel’s file manager is provided by your hosting provider, but most hosting provider’s offer FTP or SFTP access too (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on setting up access). These are file transfer protocols designed to be used with third-party apps, like https://filezilla-project.org/ and https://cyberduck.io/
You’ll only ever need to use one file manager, but with so many FTP/SFTP apps available out there, you’ll probably find one that’s more comfortable to use than cPanel’s file manager (which I find clunky and annoying). ??
