Filesize limit

    Hi,

    I have a problem. Every time I backup my Uploads-Folder I get following error-message:

    [18-Feb-2015 17:46:12] 3. Trying to create backup archive …
[18-Feb-2015 17:52:11] WARNING: Job restarts due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes.
[18-Feb-2015 17:52:11] ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!

    I’m using Strato as hoster and noticed, that the max filesize in my backwpup-xxxxxx-backups is 64MB.

    Are there any known bugs with backwpup and Strato? Can I set the filesize for the archives created by backwpup?

    To answer myself:

    I got a call from Strato. They told my, that the limit for a file on their shared platform is 64MB. No way to increase.

    So, as there is no way to split the backup into smaller chunks I have to find another backup solution.

    we hav get a test System from Strato. I will do some test for it if i have some time.

    it is as you say. And no changse to increase the limit on Shard hosting.
