    Hello,

To be sure that the migration is well, I would want to know if it’is normal to have only that these files:
    htaccess
    installer-backup.php
    installer-data.sql
    installer-log.txt
    wp-config.php
    Anything else?

Once the migration is done, files to be deleted are installer.php and an archive file (zip file)?
Anything else to do by security?

    Thank you in advance !

  • Hey Zailana,

You should also have the core wp folders like wp-admin, wp-content ect… Unless you specifically created a root filter.

After an install you will be prompted at the top of the screen if any files with security issues still exist and you can go to the to tool menu and check to see which files may still exist.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Cory,

    Thank you for your answer.

No, I created nothing… so there is a problem with the migration.
You think that it’s a problem from the website/the configuration o my migration ?

    Thanks !

I would manually open the archive folder, if it doesn’t have all the files/folders of the original site then something happened when the package was created. It could be a permissions issue where the package was made.

    Yes, I think so.
I found another way: to make migrate manually, simpler for me.

    Thank you for your answers

    No Problem… Glad you found a solution…
