I compered a two .zip file after unzip them to see what is new in the files… I noticed that the caching folder for the swift lite plugin added a new folder for (www domain) .. and keep increasing each week …

This guide in our FAQ may help regarding growing size of your cache folder.

after you installed Swift (or any other cache plugin) it is normal and necessary that an extra folder is created because the cached files must be stored somewhere.

@fredawd also how can I do this part:
“Be sure to manually remove the entire contents of the cache folder and do the following steps”

Through FTP or with a File Manager plugin. It is not uncommon that cache size increase. Start with following the provided solution.

@fredawd do you mean access the folders throug ftp and delete the whole caching folders?? or just the folder generated by this plugin? ( swift lite)?

Yes, just the folder generated by Swift (../wp-content/cache/swift-performance).

@fredawd if i delete it manually will it be re-generated ??

the score of my website in GTmetrix is high .. I don’t want to lose this rank after deleting the swift caching folder.

please advise.. and thank you so much for your prompt feedback.

Yes, Swift will recreate the folder and necessary files.
