Hello, I’ve installed your plugin and filled out the Access Token and File Input ID, and yet no files are being uploaded to Dropbox. There’s no special field to add to the form, right? It should just work using the usual file upload option? Thanks.

  • I’m in the same boat. I have been working for days to get this to upload to Dropbox. This is the first time I ran across a problem like this. Can someone please help?

    Hello @celestinaadams and @daystaradv,

Please create Dropbox access token by following this URL. (https://99rabbits.com/get-dropbox-access-token/).
Also, check your file input ID is correct or not.

Please assign id on file input element.
    For e.g. [file your-file id:FILEID]
In above example “FILEID” is “File Input ID”

    Thanks,
    Jay Swadas

Thanks for this response, Jay, but I’m still having the same issue. I have the access token, however the files are still not being uploaded.

For [file* file-978 filetypes:pdf] what would the file input ID be? 978 or file-978? I’ve tried both and neither have worked (I’ve tried with and without brackets too).

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello @jayswadas!

Thank you for this plugin! I’m sure a lot of others have already used this successfully. I’d like to post how my form field looks like generated using Contact Form 7 and the CF7 Dropbox plugin. Please check if there’s an error there somewhere. It doesn’t upload to directory. Below is the CF7 shortcode.

    [file Uploaded-File filetypes:jpeg|png id:File-to-upload class:dropbox-saver]

    Thanks in advance!

    Sincerely,
    Sam.
