files not showing up when I add them to my directory I have set up for add to s

  • Hello to all. I have been using and loving add from server fore about 3 years now. but lately I notice that files that are deleted from my directory are still showing up even though I cleared my browser’s cache (I do not have a cache plugin installed on wordpress) and files I upload never show up. I have tried reinstalling the plugin with no joy. I looked in my directory that I have set up and the files I deleted are indeed gone and the files i uploaded are there. What in the blazes could be going on here.

    I tried switching to my 2013 theme which is the default anyway and deactivingating all plugins with no luck.

    running wordpress Version 3.8.1 with all updates applied to all plugins.

    Can you be a bit more specific? How are you deleting the files? Where are they still showing up?

    It could be that your server has a file cache, or, there’s a invisible cache before the web server added by your host to improve caching..
