Files no longer showing in Clients’ Sub-directories

We can see files added in specific directories when logged in as an admin but testing as a client they no longer show. This is used in conjunction with S2Member plugin so not sure if there is a known bug with the current version using the latest WordPress release. Thinking maybe the shortcode is outdated. For example this is what is used to pull the documents for this particular (Quarterly Materials) directory which do not display for the Client:

This has worked for years so intuition tells me its no longer compatible with something. I can set you up as an admin and client to look further.
