This plugin just moved files to the bin without me saying so. Here’s what I did:

I created a folder called uploads. I suspect this must be a restricted name as when I moved some images into it the number in there went up as expected, but looking in the folder there were no items! They weren’t in my media list either. So I renamed the folder to Uploaded Items thinking that might bring them back – it didn’t. Then I looked in the Bin and there they were. I restored them and they went back into my newly renamed folder.

Just me or can you reproduce this?

    Hi @rosbiffer ,

Thanks for using FileBird, sorry for that issue, so we have not encountered that before and we will be glad to take a look at this for you if you could please provide us with more information:

-A screencast showing the whole process and the issue.
-Where does this “Bin” comes from, what tool creates this “Bin” area?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    -Bruce-

I don’t really want to risk trying this again as it’s a live site!

I thought the bin was a wordpress feature. Not sure where it came from then?

    Hi @rosbiffer ,

Please do not worry, it is not risky if it is a FileBird’s issue, because your files will never be deleted by FileBird, might be a bug, but if you don’t mind, we will check for you and fix any issue associated with FileBird.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    -Bruce-
