Files Imported Will Not Play

  • I installed the Add from server plugin and everything seemed to work great. it never dawned on me that the files might not play so i did not test that part.

    Today i went and added the files that were imported to a post and none of them would play. i tried using the regular media adding to a post as well as with our podcast plugin. No luck

    I went thru all of the files that were already loaded and the podcasts that were already there and they play fine. only the files that were pulled in thru the app wont play and they are there. they have a file size.. they have a length. But when i go to the actual post they will not play. They can however be downloaded if they are posted with the podcast plugin But they will not play.

    i added this plugin to a totally different site and got the same problem. i know that this particular plugin is not suppported any longer but when i do a search trying to find a plugin that does the same thing all the posts lead back to this one.
