• Hey everybody,

I have the following problem: The site is all setup with wordpress, but we have on page where I would want users to be able to download our press releases.
Now with the links pointing to the files or the press release, I can perfectly fine download them with right-click and “save target as”, but if I only click the link to the file itself, it opens the default error page of wordpress with a “file not found” errormessage.

I also tried uploading the file via the wordpress upload system (and not with ftp before) to see if that had an effect, but it stayed the same.

How can I make the download of that zip-pressrelease start automatically when a link to that file is clicked – and not have wordpress give that errormessage instead?

    Any help seriously appreciated
