Files are in file manager

I have a site that I am having to rebuild from scratch (my old host “lost” my database”).
I am using Bluehost.
My mp3s are uploaded to the file manager at blue host. I see them. I can download them from the file manager, but when I use the direct link, it tells me it is missing and can’t find it.

I contacted Bluehost who tried to the fix the problem but said I would be better off trying to get some advice here. What the tech told me was “This problem normally occurs when you’ve had a link, page, or post with the same name, in your wordpress site, it leaves weird little breadcrumbs that tell wordpress that URI belongs to it, so it forgets to check if the file actually exists.”

I do not know why this link would “forget” where it was pointed to because this URL has literally never been used before. I just uploaded this file yesterday and the site is brand new, new host, new database, new everything.

I have no idea how to even google this problem but am hoping that someone can help me.

I am running the latest version on WP.
