Filename Conflict when Uploading Attachments

Hi there,

hmm… it seems to me that there is a problem when, within one month, one uploads two attachments which have the same filename. Then the first one get’s overwritten by the new one.

I thought I tried it once and the system was “intelligent” enough to add a “-1” to the newer filename.

But now, I’ve tried it again, it did indead delete/overwrite my first file…

There should be either some kind of automatic recognition of this problem with a renaming of the file, or otherwise a renaming generally into unique filenames (with for example date, hour, minute & seconds of upload time)…
