file://localhost/… links

    Writing a post (in the WordPress copy I installed locally on my HD) I inserted a link to an htm document in a folder:

    file://localhost/D:/Studio/ch18.htm

    Clicking on it nothing happens, why?

    Try this:

    file:///D:/Studio/ch18.htm

    Unfortunately it doesn’t work.

    After having saved
    ch18.htm
    WP doesn’t keep it and the html editor then shows again only //, not ///.

    Maybe do I have to use some code for the / ?
