    I’ve tried updating from FileBird Pro version 3.9 to 4.0 on a few different WordPress sites, including a freshly installed site, and in all cases, all of the folders are deleted after the update.

    Reinstalling the 3.9 files brings the folders back.

    Hi @bbion055 ,

    Thanks for using FileBird and sorry about that issue, first of all, please note that any folder created by FileBird cannot show up at the root of website when checked via FTP.

    Secondly, please make sure you deactivate and delete older version first before you install latest update.

    Thirdly, it seems you are not familiar with the new UI which has a slight change from the old versions, now, your sub folders are very likely not lost, you just need to click on a folder icon before you see the sub folder trees, please see:
