most likely you have limitations from the FileBird plugin. But in most cases, this plugin reports its limitations on the Media Uploader window.

There is no file size limitation that can be updated within cPlan
Insight – The filebird folders will display when SimLy Gallery is built within the page.

As far as I know, the Light version of FileBird provides its features only on pages / posts. In custom posts like SimpLy Gallery, this can only be done in the full version of FileBird.
