File uploads have stopped working

  • Hi,

    This plugin has been used on a website that we maintain (but didn’t build) and it seems that file uploads no longer work in the plugin.

    I’ve tried it on versions 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6 of WordPress (just in case) and neither seem to work.

    Other plugins (like ACF) still work fine with file uploads, so that leads me to believe this plugin has a bug somewhere.

    Whenever a file is “uploaded” and the fields saved, it posts the formdata with the fake path in it (e.g. “C:\fakepath\somefile.jpg”), that doesn’t seem correct, so maybe you’re not trapping that?

    Hopefully a fix can be made for this, as we’re currently not able to maintain our client’s website.

  • Same problem here, I probably encountered the bug when upgrading WordPress. But I’m not sure.

    I intend to migrate on ACF some day, but right now, I need a quick fix. Before going deeper in the code, can you tell me if you found a way to solve that ?
