I was jumping for joy when I saw that file upload maximum size settings could be changed without monkeying around with code until I discovered that the maximum size that I set in the Network Settings panel was not being adopted by the sites in the Multisite Network. There is no similar setting at the site level. I’m thinking that I could go back and change the size in the config.ini (or whatever it’s name was) like I did pre-3.6, but there has got to be a better way. Am I missing something?

The max file upload doesn’t change PHP’s settings, so keep that in mind. So … no. There isn’t a better way, since you have to tell the server that it’s okay ??

On mine it’s a server side php.ini file.

    Thanks for the response!

So the WP settings simply adjust the settings within the limit set in the PHP install? I think that I see the issue now. I’d assumed that things had changed since I’d moved to a Multisite Network and upgraded to 3.6. But the issue, I think is indeed in the php.ini.

    Thanks for clarifying,

    Marc
