File Upload Problem

Problem seems to be the Tip Text.
As it contains comma “,” in the text, i guess the CSV file is not forming correctly.
I.e. the Commas in the Tip Text are being considered and field separators for the CSV file. Kindly try to remove the “,” from the Text and try again.

If this doesn’t solve the problem, kindly provide the actual CSV if possible.

It still seems problem with the CSV file.
Please open the CSV file using MS Excel to see the columns created.

All the commas creates different columns. and the fields are not going in their proper places.

I have double quotes around each comma which isn’t a different column per your latest upgrade instructions and I’ve placed each field, separated by a comma, per the header example. Can you show me precisely where the errors are please?

I found the problem and it’s working now. It doesn’t like double quotes around words, i.e., “this”. I removed those and the file uploaded correctly.

I’d love to use this plugin and would even contribute to it’s development, but the file upload is just too confusing to understand. Is there an example somewhere of how the file should look?

we are working on a feature to export the tips to csv.
It might help to understand the CSV format for upload.

I believe the file upload part can handle only simple text. thats why you are facing problem.

you are more than welcome to join the development. We could really use some help. If you are aware about a better way to upload the CSV, please do share, i will surely add it in the plugin.
