• Hi,
Does anyone know of a hack that would allow you to upload files to your blog, like with some forums and boards. Not images but word docs, zip files and so on.

  • The upload feature will – just add the allowed extensions in Options > Misc

    Thanks for that…..
Looks to be working OK. Although it does not upload the files. The folder is writeable and the file size is ok. There are no errors in the upload process, although when i click the link it is dead. and when i check the folder through ftp its empty.
    any ideas /

If you are using FTP to check, why aren’t you just using FTP to start with?

I could see this feature as something useful and to answer NuclearMoose, it would be advantous to have this ability for those bloggers who have access to the blog, to upload non-image files, without the use of FTP, as FTP can be a bit confusing to some.

    Got it working fine now.
The problem was the doc’s are a bit un clear as to what permissions to set the upload folder to on the server. founnd for iit to work I had to set it to 777. And it worked no problem.
As for this feature. i agree with skebrown. It adds extra fuctionality to the system. FTP iis my prefered method but this is a very good feature.
    thanks all….
