First, thank you for creating such an easy to use and compatible plugin – I tried several event plugins and yours was the easiest to configure with the plugin stew I’m using.

Is there a way to add a file upload field to the rsvp form within the plugin? I need to users to upload a document as part of the registration process and the plugin currently cannot do this.

    Any suggestions?

File upload is currently not implemented. You can always make a feature request at https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress

Thank you for responding – I will definitely do that!

I don’t know if this is a temporary or even possible solution, but if there’s a file select option maybe one could use the media library’s uploader in the interim until Franky adds the direct uploader. I noticed a featured image option–I think–sugesting access to the media library.

    Thanks for the advice starapple.

I ended up adding a second contact form after submission of the event registration. This not the “best” solution but works for my purposes.

Actually, I misread your need J Ivy. Just realized that you wanted the user to perform the upload. If you are brave there’s an article I found here that shows how to create an uploader for the front end so maybe you can hack it into the plugin and your theme’s functions.php

    I’ve not tried it.

Hi starapple, that link is interesting but not going to work since the file upload fields need to be treated as “answer”.
For now there’s no feature request made, and since it would take quite some work I’m not starting on it right now.
