    Hi,

    it’s working on my test site. Is the file really uploaded? The original upload dir should “wp-content/uploads/profiles/USERID/”. Check if the upload failed, maybe it’s a permission issue.

    Yes, you are right. It was indeed a permission issue! ??

    But isn’t it risky to give 777 file permissions to the ‘uploads’ folder?

    Also would like to know how to add more file types. The users should be able to upload xlsx, xls, ppt and pptx files. Where do I setup max file size to be uploaded?

    Here you can read more about permissions with wordpress. 755 is enough probably for uploads folder.

    To change the type of files allowed, you need to use: “bxcft_files_ext_allowed”. Read the faq to see how to use it.
