File upload doesn’t work on Android (no apps can perform this action)

  • Hi!

    I’ve found out, that Android users can’t use file upload on Contact Form 7. I’m using CF7 on different websites, and users of both sites complained, that they cannot choose file with “file chooser” on android (no problem on iOS or desktop).

    After they click on “file picker”, android dialogue window with “no apps can perform this action” text will appear.

    Is there any way to solve this?

    Does anybody ever tested this plugin (Contact Form 7) on mobile devices? Especially androids.

    On my website 55% traffic comes from Mobile devices, most of them androids. I need this upload field to work. Please help!

    i also have this Problem, seems like it’s an facebook browser error or something like this,.
    A quick fix would be nice….
    i have 75% user from mobile devices….

    have you found the solution yet? I have the same problem, the button of file attachment doesn’t work on mobile devices, although it’s perfectly working on desktop.

    In other topic it was advised to put “add_filter( ‘wpcf7_load_js’, ‘__return_false’ );” in function.php of the child theme and it worked temporarily, but the problem returned.

    I would appreciate so much if you could give some advice what to do.
