I would like to use Awesome Support as a way for me to send and receive client files that may contain sensitive information. Is Awesome Support a safe plugin to use for this purpose? If yes, please provided any security details that you may have.

    Hi @evtwp,

There is an add-on to Awesome Support called “private credentials”. https://getawesomesupport.com/addons/private-credentials/
This add-on is used as a way to securely share decryption strings for files. Am I correct in understanding that you are sending/receiving files that are encrypted with passwords so that the only way to access these files (even at rest) is to have access to a passphrase to unlock them? The private credentials plug-in will aid in the transfer of the passphrase in a secure way using both access credentials and private key encryption. More documentation on this feature can be found here: https://getawesomesupport.com/documentation/private-credentials/private-credentials-concepts/

If there is anything more specific that you are looking for, or looking for more detail, please let me know. (I’ll mark as resolved for now, and follow up if you have more questions)
