i recently transferred from one server & host to another and everything was running smoothly. Tried to use the theme editor but it said it wasn’t able to write to something so I clicked on the link (and it sent me to Codex) & tried to change the file permissions to 666 for my themes folder but I accidently checked the box to make everything that permission AND I guess my server is also one of those that didn’t understand that (like it points out in that picture) because it automatically went to 766. I am so confused.

My site’s index page is also blank :/ but I know thats a result of the file permission.

I guess my question is how can I fix it. Is most of wordpress a certain permission number while only a select few are certain ones. Is it better if I just reinstalled it and ‘started over again’.

If you go to my login page or something (/wp/wp-admin…) – I get access to this page is forbidden ??
