File Permissions

    I’m needing find out how/where BuddyDrive stores the permissions for the files uploaded in Groups and by individuals. We’re using BuddyPress and BuddyDrive and we are utilizing Groups. It looks like they all uploads are going straight into the WP uploads folder, but I’m not seeing where/how BuddyDrive is keeping track of ownership/permissions in the DB.

    Where is that information getting stored in the database?

    I found in the buddydrive-file post type in the posts table, but I’m having difficulty getting the file related to a user/group….

    OK, nevermind…..think I figured it out. I can key from posts to postmeta on the posts_id and that gives me the group id…..

    Glad you were able to find what you need. Almost everything is stored in post/post_meta, but there are a few settings related things stored in a few wp_options tables.
