File Permissions

    i have a bitnami install of wordpress, and I’m having some issues with the file permissions

    i’ve had to set folder permissions to 777, obviously that doesn’t make sense, so does this plugin use some other user to make changes?

    the owner of the theme is bitnami user

    i’m not well versed in this aspect so any pointers would be great
