File permission issues

    Hi All,

    I have already try with 755 and 777 file and folder permission but still i am getting this type of error, i am not able to add update and delete plugin:

    Update Failed: Could not create directory.

    Could not fully remove the plugin(s) akismet/akismet.php.

    The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

    I have already given file permission(755,777) using SSH but not working at all.

    any quick solution please ?

    Is this only happening with this plugin? Does it also happen when you try to install another plugin or add a media file? Is the directory on the server full? If so, if you remove some files does the problem go away?

    Hi,
    its only happen with plugin(not working add update and delete).
    Is the directory on the server full? -> No
    add a media file? -> adding media working fine.
