    Hi there,

    could you explain the functionality of the order feature? I waited for a couple of updates after the 2.0 release but I still don’t see any use for it.

    It would be great to have the option to order all custom codes files alphabetically or via the order feature.

    Now I can finally use custom codes to split a large code base over multiple files, the ability to manage the order in which the files are listed would complete the perfect setup for larger projects.

    Hi Alex,

    The order field is for releasing order of multiple custom codes. Sometimes you might need to prioritize your multiple custom codes on where they are released. Yes, you’re right, we should have written like “Release Order” instead of “Code Order”. Thank you for letting us know.

    It would be great to have the option to order all custom codes files alphabetically or via the order feature.

    If you’re referring the admin side Custom Codes list page, you can simply order by Custom Code name or Order fields by clicking the table titles.

    Also thanks for your good thoughts. With the PRO version of the Custom Codes we are currently developing, you can also group/categorize your codes to make them much more organized.

    I did not know about that feature but yes ordering by custom code names did fix my problem ??

    Thanks for clearing that up.

    The pro version sounds very interesting, we use the plugin all the time in our agency and I’m sure we will take the upgrade for additional features.
