file of type is not allowed… PLZ help!

  • Hi guys!

    I want to use the included WP Upload Plugin, but it doesn?′t work. Upload is enabled and the paths are definied recommended. I made a new folder on the server called “upload” and changed the CHMOD settings to 777. However it still doesn?′t work. Normal .jpg format, and small size. Extensions are allowed and the size is right. “file uploads” on the server are ON.

    Still “File of type is not allowed.” error.
    Has anyone an idea?

  • First, visit the Plugin Author’s website to see if there are any answers there.

    Second, contact the Plugin Author directly.

    Third, search the Internet and Forum to see if anyone else has solved the problem you are having with the plugin.

    Lastly, post again in the PLUGINS forum section and see if someone is familiar with the plugin.

    If you are trying to just upload images, try an FTP program. It’s very easy.

    Upload isn’t a plugin, though. I think he mistyped.

    If Upload isn’t a plugin but the WordPress built in upload feature, then we have to know so we can try to help.

    Sorry my fault. It is the WordPress built in upload feature!
