File not updating after cache cleared

    I have replaced a word document and cleared all the cache, the file size has changed in the media library but it still downloads the old file, but when I put a “?” on the end of the file URL it downloads the new file

    Hi @joeinc,

    If after adding the “?whatever” at the end of the URL, you download the new file, it means you need to clear your cache.

    Please do it in this order:
    – Cache plugins (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, SG Optimizer…)
    – Server cache (SiteGround, Bluehost…)
    – CDN cache (Cloudflare, StackPath…). Please do it from your CDN’s dashboard, not through your cache plugin or hosting dashboard.
    – Browser cache (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari…)
