File not replaced with update

I update a dozen or so charts and tables on my financial website every month and this plugin saves me a ton of time. Very much appreciate it.

I just finished doing a monthly update – replace image only and ran into a new issue. The dialog shows the original (April) and new (May) images side by side. However when the successfully updated message appears, it is the old (April) image which displays. The image library list shows that the image was updated a few seconds ago. The same thing happened with all of the image replacements this month.

I purged the Siteground cache and the browser cache before checking the website in two different browsers. Everything is showing the old (April) images.

Going back to the image replace dialog, if I click on Edit image, the new image displays. If I click on Permalink the old image displays so something not right.

Edit #1: I looked for similar problems and found the link to article with some suggested fixes. I added ?random to URL; however the old image is displayed. I then tried the replace with new name and links with the new folder option which appears to have worked.

Edit #2: I have now verified that all images have been replaced correctly.
