File not found Go to shop using a file url with redirect

  • Hi,

    I have an issue with downloading a PDF document. On the WooCommerce product page, I’ve inserted the URL of the file to be downloaded, but it actually contains a redirect to another URL, which, in turn, has the destination PDF file. Unfortunately, when I input this redirect URL, I get the following error in a new tab:

    File not found Go to shop

    If I input a direct URL to a PDF file on the WooCommerce product page, it opens correctly. However, I need to manage URLs with redirects. How can I achieve this?

    Updated: I’ve solved the problem by configuring the WooCommerce file download method to “Redirect Only (insecure).”

    Is there a possibility that this could create security issues?

    Hi.

    Is the download on another URL? It needs to be on the same server so if on another, you can have it as redirect only like you have
