I have the same issue. When uploading a new file, the plugin acts like the upload worked, but the file is not actually uploaded, hence the file not found error. I manually added the file via FTP as a quick workaround, but I don’t know why the plugin is failing. Nothing related in the error logs either.

For me the upload problem only happens when uploading to a category. It works fine if no category is selected.

I’m also having this problem… File acts as added and even displays in the list but no file is actually uploaded.

    Same problem here..
I see you have more posts dealing with the same problem.
    Do they discontinued plugin?
Looks abandoned, there was no author’s response to any recent post.
Does anyone have another alternative plugin to indicate?

Same issue here. Is this plugin no longer supported?

I am experiencing the same problem. It looks like file is uploaded into the chosen category and is also listed but when you click Download – there is no file. Using “sync” button shows that the file is missing.

I will try and upload using FTP now as suggested by @frogtown.

    This needs to be fixed.

I can confirm that using FTP or File manager to upload the file under the category folder and then Syncing it works. (As @frogtown mentioned)

Uploading via WordPress admin using Filebase uploader doesn’t work.

Thanks dshakya, that was helpful. ??

I have a local install and I found the file cache in:
    C:\xampp\apps\wordpress\htdocs\wp-content\uploads\filebase

Once I manually copied the file to the appropriate folder (category) and did a sync in WP-Filebase the file can be published.

Agreed this needs to be fixed but I can limp along with this workaround for a while.

I am experiencing an issue where the file is uploaded, I then edit the file (change the category for example) and the file is gone – I cannot find it when viewing in Admin or via FTP… seems to be a bug in here somewhere…

Hey Everyone! I have the same issue as you, but since I have been using this plugin for a while across multiple websites, I have decided not to try to find a new plugin since the older version worked so well for me. So, I uploaded the old 3.1.01 version. After upload, I edit the header to say “version 3.1.02” so that it doesn’t have the plugin update alert/auto update and mess everything up again. Until there is a fix, the 3.1.01 seems to be working just fine! Good luck!

    Hello Kate

I don’t find the old version, apparently WordPress has erased the plugin. Where I can find the version 3.1.01?

    Thanks

    Hi all,
Having the same issue, anybody found the 3.1.01 zip file ?
I will get back into my archives to find it if needed.
EDIT: Found it, installed and IT WORKED ??
    Pascal.

Can you provide a link to 3.1.01? The plugin is no longer listed on www.remarpro.com so people that don’t have a copy of the previous version can’t go and download that last stable version.

    Thanks,
    Cody

It seems that the plugin is completely removed. I have put a copy here .
    Hope it helps.
    Pascal.

Thanks casiepa for posting a link to the files.

You’re welcome. The donation button is on the same page :-p
