File not downloading (over 150mb)

@gr3ymarketing – just downloaded a 394MB file at my end, no issues whatsoever.

Safari, MacOS (both, latest versions).

File Contents: GR2022.2P02.exe
File size: 329.388.392 bytes, un-zipped

@gr3ymarketing – Chrome does not seem to be working though. So, at least I was able to replicate this.

@cristianraiber-1 So is this a plugin issue or a browser issue? It seems strange that the file works directly through Chrome, but not via the Download Monitor link.

@gr3ymarketing – plugin & browser issue. Safari is behaving differently than the rest. We’ve got to figure out exactly what Safari likes about that file size that the other browsers don’t.

We’ll start digging into it more starting tomorrow …

I have the same kind of problem. Some of our files are up to 4GB, and impossible for our users to download. Error 500…
I resolved it by downgrading the pluggin version to V4.5.99 ( before commit of https://github.com/WPChill/download-monitor/issues/781 )
I hope you will fix this bug quickly. In the meantime, I’m blocking pluggin updates on our WordPress…

I have rolled back ours as well and all works again. Let’s hope a fix comes for the latest update.
