Can I upload an image without having to re-name it using the dimensions of the image? E.g. I want to upload avatar-1.jpg but the plugin/wordpress will reference it as avatar-1-32×32.jpg or avatar-1-96×96.jpg etc.
Is there a way around this? Will I have to have multiple copies of the same file with different dimensions?
Why can’t it automatically scale the image without referencing a different filename, or is there a setting somewhere which deals with this?

    Hi haldocalypse,

No, you can’t do it directly. Avatar images are cached at different sizes to improve load times.

    Best regards,
