File modals not loading

  • Hi,

    I’m using Delightful Downloads on a site, where it’s working perfectly.

    But today I installed it on another site, and when I click the “Upload file” or “Existing file” buttons, nothing happens.

    I checked the console, and I’m not seeing any errors being outputted there when I click the buttons. I’ve cleared my cache to no effect.

    I know this is a long shot, but do you have any suggestions why the modals are not being loaded and/or how I can track down what the problem is?

    Same here, and I’ve tried deactivating other plugins to see if there’s interference. No luck so far.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled Delightful Downloads, without success in solving the issue, and then I deactivated all other plugins, and the reinstalled Delightful Downloads started working. I then reactivated the remaining plugins one at a time to see if anything restarted the problem. The problem never reappeared, despite being the same site configuration as before.

    This fixed it, though I couldn’t tell you how!

    Anyone else had luck correcting this issue? Would love some ideas as I’d really like to use this plugin.
