    Hello,
When you right-click on an uploaded file and select ‘Get info’ There is a line titled “Path:” and a line titled “Link:” The “Path” shows the correct partial URL (documents/aircraft/r44_n129af/test.pdf), however when you click on the “test.pdf” URL beside “Link” the ‘documents’ directory of the full URL is omitted. This leaves me with a broke URL (https://airfirst-llc.com/aircraft/r44_n129af/test.pdf – where it should be https://airfirst-llc.com/documents/aircraft/r44_n129af/test.pdf)

From a technical standpoint, this isn’t a major issue, as I can easily add it into the URL myself, but figured I’d bring it up anyways as it could confuse less tech savvy clients.

I currently have the root path set to ‘/home/customer/www/airfirst-llc.com/public_html/documents/’, as I want to keep my client from messing with anything in the root directory.

    All the best!
    Chris

    Hello,
The Files URL in the settings (I believe this is new?) allows me to bypass the issue now. Thanks for that!

I did set the Root Path back to default, removing the “documents/” directory I added to it. Then the “Link” URL in the file info popup works as it should, but if I edit the Root Path by adding on another directory, the “Link” URL breaks unless I have the Files URL setting updated to include my added directory.

Just thought I’d provide some additional information. Thanks again!
    Chris

    Hi @rotornut44 ,

Root Path and Files URL need to be the same.

    Cheers!
