File could not be uploaded

    No matter how I try and organise the zip file, I always seem to get this error: The file could not be uploaded; the error code was: The zip file was not valid; it needs to contain a single top-level directory with name exactly equal to the plugin slug (plugin-name). The additional entry encountered was: plugin-name

    I’m making sure that the zip contains a single top-level directory with the exact name as stated in the error but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. Where am I going here?

    This being a free plugin, we provide only free support in public so that other people can benefit. If you want private support you can purchase support at https://www.simbahosting.co.uk – best way is to purchase the paid add-on for this free plugin. Alternatively, prepare a version of your zip file that has nothing you consider private in it, but which still causes the problem, and share that here. Or, you can read through the code of this plugin to find the line with the error message it, and investigate it directly (since presumably you are a plugin developer).
