• Hello, I always get this “File Changes Detected” on my logs. I tried contacting my hoting but they seem to not involved in these things. I want to ask what can I do to stop/prevent this one if ever its a real threat to security?

    It says like this:
    Function : File Changes Detected
    Priority : 8
    Data: mywebsite.com/wp-admin/itsec-log-all-row-0

    its always itsec-log-all-row-anumber from 0-9

And there are some 404 error that adds url to my site like: /feed/www.thirdamendment.com/animals.html
    /feeds/posts/default
    /atom.xml

I should block their IP addresses, right?

    Thnk you!

  • Me too always get this but where is the list of files have changed? I cannot find any changes.

You might find this an interesting similar topic:

Also select “File Change History” as log Select Filter instead of “All Log Data” to only get Details when there are actually file changes detected.

I read the link several times but still cannot understand what it is saying. Can someone please explain in layman term / simple steps to guide me so that I do not receive wrong file changes detected email alert? at the moment I have off this option cause it is giving my too much problem and alerts. Thanks.

From your last post I understand that you seem to have a problem with false email notifications being send by the “File Change Detection” feature.

However the topic starter had a problem with the log entries added by the “File Change Detection” feature.

I think this is a nice example why you should create your own topic and not add a “me too” post to an existing topic.

So post your own topic and describe EXACTLY (in detail) what your issue is. If you do so you can expect a reply from me today.
Don’t forget to also provide the iTSec plugin version being used.
