File change detection – exclusions not working

  • Hi, I’ve updated all my websites to the latest version of the new iThemes Security plugin. I’ve previously been a BWPS user for some time and have been very happy.

    I understand that you’re still working out the bugs, most aspects are working on my websites, but I’m still having an issue the with File Change Detection Exclusions.

    I’ve added my cache folder to the exclusion list by clicking on the red minus sign, but I’m still getting daily email notifications listing all the cache folder refreshes. It seems the plugin isn’t recognising the exclusions???

    I’ve tried adding it to the list both with and without a trailing / and it seems to make no difference… I’m still getting emailed daily with cache file changes… please help fix this!

    I’m experiencing the same issue.

    I have asked iThemes Security not to monitor /error_log, but it does.
