File Area in User Profile Area

  • Is there a way to have a small file or private area for the subscriber users where the administrators can drop a file or some personal attachment into that subscriber areas private “dropbox” or something like that?

    I’m using the register plus and nifty plugins like that, but need a way to drop a pdf or word doc into specific user’s profile area or dashboard area that they can download and view, etc?

  • Just as a note, I’ve deleted 4 or 5 dupicate threads.

    Any update about it…

    I am basically looking for something like this.

    Once user logs in to the site they can have some space on the server where they can upload their files and downlaod them later.

    Look at the bottom of the following page for links to a couple of plugins that may help you edit the subscriber role and add that capability…I haven’t used any of these, so I’m just assuming one of them will work.

    I’m also looking for the same plugin/functionality for user files. Has there been any update or tutorial that I could be pointed to? I looked through your link, figaro, but nothing caught my eye that looked like a solution
