    Hi we are now aware of this and will be looking into it very soon. My guess is it’s a false positive caused by one of our automated tools. I’ll comment again when it’s resolved.

    @zacwebadmin @kdragan this notification can be ignored, it is due to one of our automated tools that automatically protects the libraries we use from vendor conflicts. The library itself, phpmailer, is packaged with the core Matomo product and is not actually used in Matomo for WordPress. In the next release, it will be removed entirely, which will also have the effect of removing the Wordfence alert.
