    After scanning my site with Wordfence, the result say:

    File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/my-custom-functions/inc/codemirror/codemirror-compressed.js
    Filename: wp-content/plugins/my-custom-functions/inc/codemirror/codemirror-compressed.js
    File type: Not a core, theme or plugin file.
    Issue first detected: 5 mins ago.
    Severity: Critical
    Status New
    This file appears to be installed by a hacker to perform malicious activity. If you know about this file you can choose to ignore it to exclude it from future scans. The text we found in this file that matches a known malicious file is: “eval include include_once isset list require require_once return print unset __halt_compiler self static parent yield insteadof finally”,g=”true false null TRUE FALSE NULL __CLASS__ __DIR__ __FILE__ _…”. The infection type is: Suspicious eval with base64 decode..

    Should I do anything about it?

    The scanner of the Wordfence plugin is checks the identity of plugin files on your website with the original files of plugin that stores at www.remarpro.com website (you can see this on options page of the Wordfence plugin). In your case this scanner found a malicious code in the ‘My Custom Functions’ plugin, which means that the files on your website is infected. So you need to remove the ‘My Custom Functions’ plugin from your website and then install it again. After that please scan your website again in order to check that the problem is resolved.

    I scanned my test site (with the ‘My Custom Functions’ plugin installed) with Wordfence and no malicious were found.
