File access denied jonradio-multiple-themes

  • I’m so confused by this. I had multiple themes installed but it wouldn’t work and only just gave me a read of several lines of error instead of a webpage or options. For the life of me i can’t remember now what that error was.

    But I tried to remove plugin, install plugin, because i have had issues starting up my wordpress site from the very beginning and i thought perhaps a redo would be good.

    I seemed to successfully remove multiple themes but upon reinstall it gave me an error stating that the directory already exists.

    And the kicker is that of all the directories in my httpdocs root folder, jonradio-multiple-themes is the only one i can’t delete or rename. It gives me this error string.

    ok, actually, it’s just the includes subdirectory that i don’t seem to have access to. is this a problem of the plugin or what?

    Ouch!

    Let’s look at this one step at a time. First, we want to make sure the plugin uninstalls. Then we’ll deal with the question of making it work.

    Are you using cPanel to manage your site or do you have shell access? Failing that, do you have FTP access to your files? It will work a lot more effectively than trying to muck with the directory from WordPress.
