• I just needed to change something in the customer order e-mail but the input fields keep showing the “order complete” texts/fields.

    The preview works when switching, but the fields do not. Making it impossible to change the text inside the e-mail.

    No idea when this started, site is up to date so latest version running.

    Hi!

    Thank you for reaching out to us and I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.

    While you’re on the Email Customizer page, could you check your browser console log to see if there are any errors?

    Additionally, have you tried doing the troubleshooting steps listed in this post? If not yet, please do as it is possible that you are having a plugin conflict.

    On the other hand, if your issue is that text field changes are not applying, double-check if you have a template override. Go to WooCommerce > Status, scroll down until you see Templates, and see if you have any email template overrides in your theme. If you do have an override, you’ll have to rename/delete it so our template will work properly.

    Hi Karla,

    after inspection I saw some errors but they weren’t Kadence related.
    I thought I’d check what would happen if I opened the email customizer with Brave browser instead of chrome; and it all works fine there!

    So; problem solved. Though I don’t really understand why Chrome won’t work and Brave works fine..
