I have a serious problem that risks me being fined by the Italian state. Although the fields name, surname and billing address are mandatory in the checkout, these, even if filled in, in a completely random way in some cases are not stored in the order. This causes a major billing problem making invoices non-compliant with the law.
Has anyone encountered a similar experience? Does a solution exist?
I am using WordPress 5.5.1 and Woocommerce 4.5.2

    Hi @onelikenoone

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

You’ll also want to take a look at the Accounts and Privacy settings on the site as there are options to allow customers to request personal information be removed from their account, including on orders. You can read more about this here:
