    We inherited the restyling of a website with many plugins. There is a plugin, WooCommerce Italian Add-on, that collects vat numbers (for businesses) or tax code (for person) at checkout.

    Since we updated WooCommerce and WooCommerce Checkout Manager the vat number and tax code fields are not passed during checkout and are not regularly recorded in the table wp_usermeta.

    The system seems to be working correctly with WooCommerce 7.7.1, WooCommerce Italian Add-on Plus 0.8.6.3 and WooCommerce Checkout Manager 7.1.4.

    If we update WooCommerce to version 8.0.1 and WC Checkout Manager to 7.2.4 then the fields added by WC Italian Add-on appear on checkout but don’t get recorded in the table wp_usermeta.

    Would you please help me understand the situation? Since we are not the first developers of this website we aren’t sure what WC Checkout Manager has been installed for in the first place.

    Let me know how we may be able to update both WooCommerce and WooCommerce Checkout Manager safeguarding the correct recording of the vat number or tax code in the table wp_usermeta.

    Thanks very much.

    Best regards,

    The Vat Number value (Partita IVA) doesn’t show up amongst the billing information (Indirizzo di fatturazione).

    When the WooCommerce Checkout Manager is disabled the vat number / tax code of user is correctly picked up and recorded in wp_usermeta.

    Hi mate, I’m afraid to inform you that we don’t know about Checkout Manager’s compatibility with that plugin as we have never tested it.

    However, if you wish, you can send us the zip files that you were using and the ones that are in conflict now to try to replicate your issue on localhost.

    You can use the tool https://www.wetransfer.com to easily send us files here,

    Regards.

    @jmatiasmastro Thanks for your reply.

    I haven’t go clear how to use WeTransfer to send you files here. Don’t I need an email address?

    Thanks!
