    Hello Robert
I’m completely new with weblibrarian so my question might be stupid: If I want to add a new item to a collection one of the required fields is type. But I can’t make any entries there, it seems to be a dropdown field.
I tried to avoid this by adding a bulk of entries and specifying a field “type” in my csv list. But it doesn’t take the information in this field.

You need to define one (or more) circulation type first. Look on the sidebar menu for “Circulation Types” and select “Add New”. All a ciculation type does is define a loan period. Commonly videos (eg DVDs and BluRays) would be loaned for one week and books for three weeks.
