Field filtering by Dependent Picklists.

I’m having trouble with filtering dropdown options on fields that are dependent picklists. I have a field for country and state and would like to narrow down the state dropdown options to only states of that country when a country is selected. I have live field mapping enabled and the dependent picklists setup on the fields in Salesforce.
