Field content is removed when customer logs in from checkout page

    Our website is used to take registrations for a Classic Car Show. We use checkout field editor to collect exhibit data (car make, model, age, colour etc)

    We experience the following issue: A returning customer with an account (but not logged in) creates a registration and fills in all the details on the checkout page. They then proceed to pay but the system tells them there is already an account for them. Please login.
    When they do login all the checkout fields are emptied. This causes much annoyance.

    Is there any solution to this?
